HISTORYHIT.TV A new online only channel for history lovers

Adding onto the success of our Subscription Video on Demand, History Hit TV, UK subscribers will now be able to join the History Hit Book Club. Every month a new book will be carefully selected to read and discuss, with the month completed by online meetup with Dan Snow, the selected author and subscribers. By the end of the year, members should have a renewed reading habit and a bookshelf full of the best history books out there.

The History Hit Book Club is currently open to UK History Hit TV subscribers and costs £11.99 a month, which includes:

  • A £5 voucher towards the cost of the book each month
  • Exclusive access to a Q&A with Dan Snow and the author
  • Regular emails to keep your reading on track
  • An invitation to chat with other book club members via our online forum

The live Q&A events are held on the last Thursday of every month via Zoom and are recorded, so even if members can’t make the event itself, they still have the chance to submit your questions prior to the event and watch back afterwards at a time that suits them.

After spending so much time throughout the recent lockdowns away from the people and places outside of our household, there has been a renewed requirement to find joy in hobbies that can be enjoyed at home and on our own. Whilst reading is the perfect solitary pursuit, group discussion adds to the experience and the History Hit Book Club offers members exclusive direct access to Dan Snow and top historians, as well as a chance to share thoughts with like-minded history lovers.

The History Hit Book Club is currently available to UK subscribers here. We plan on opening the book club up to international subscribers in the coming months.
